To ensure the longevity of your mat and have a safe practice, follow these recommendations:
- Before starting your practice, thoroughly wash your hands and feet to remove any traces of oils or creams that might stain the mat.
- Avoid exposing the mat to direct sunlight or heat sources, as this can lead to the deterioration of the eco-friendly TPE material, significantly reducing its lifespan.
- Consider using a microfiber towel on the mat. If you're practicing with shoes, simply cover the areas where you place your hands for enhanced grip.
- Using a towel not only provides better traction but also helps keep the mat dry, minimizing the risk of slipping.
Care and Maintenance:
- Proper Storage: roll up the mat and store it in a dry, sheltered place when not in use. Consider using a natural fabric bag for storage.
