Our commitment to sustainability shines through with the use of recycled microfiber, free from PVC and Phthalates, certified by Reach and Rosh. When it's time to recycle your Energy Mat, separate the layers - the colored fabric can be placed in plastic recycling, while the natural rubber can follow your local recycling center's instructions.Advice on the correct use:
- Before your practice, if your hands and feet are dry, you can enhance grip by lightly spraying water on the mat. Microfiber's unique quality is its increased grip with moisture absorption (more sweat = more grip!).
- We recommend practicing on this mat without shoes or non-slip socks.
- Ensure your hands and feet are clean by thoroughly washing away any cream or oil residues before starting, preventing potential stains on the mat.
Care and Maintenance:
Extend the life of your mat with these essential care tips:- When using your mat for the first time, wipe it down thoroughly with a damp cloth.
- After each practice, allow your Energy Mat to air dry completely before rolling and storing it.
- Avoid exposing the mat to direct sunlight or heat sources, as this may degrade the natural rubber and reduce its lifespan.
- If you've had a particularly sweaty practice, clean your Energy Mat with a damp cloth and our ReClean mat cleaner or a mild detergent.
- For a deeper clean, machine wash the Energy Mat with cold water using a gentle cycle without the spin cycle. We recommend using an industrial washing machine to prevent excessive wear and tear on your domestic machine.
- Never put the mat in the dryer.
